DESCRIPTION

The vast and dramatic landscapes of Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico are the perfect destination for a road trip. Traditional images of arid deserts and prickly cacti contrast dramatically with the rich influences of Native American, Hispanic and Anglo American cultures.

Traveler Justine Shapiro starts her adventure in Gallup, on the New Mexico border. Heading east through Santa Fe and Taos, she then moves south to Roswell. Continuing her journey by motorcycle, she heads northwest to Tucson in the state of Arizona. After a stop at the Grand Canyon, she enters the final leg of her journey via Las Vegas to Nevada's Black Rock Desert.
