I wish there could have been more done in this video (after all, it is supposed to teach you more West Coast Style stuff), but it pretty much stuck to the basics (2 foot drops, etc). I did, however, take some things from it. I tip my hat to the women who undertake freeride mountain biking, to show that it is not just a man's sport. Though I must admit, these women were pretty f@#$ing annoying.
Ideal for the beginer/intermediate to learn good freeride skills

If you're just starting out or you're wanting to go bigger/faster, then watch this, it'll give you the basic skills of dropping off i.e. flat to flat, flat to transition, etc. etc. The basics of dirt jumping, cornering (yes, yes, you think you can go around a corner quick, but not that quick!) & riding skinnies. The female instructors (don't mock, they're West Coast & shit hot riders) can be a little patronising, but if you ignore the ocassional 'awesome' & 'sweet' lingo, it's not bad. There's also a lot of great shots of West Coast shore (Platinum looks so good!) to make it seem less like a lesson. All in all, if it saves you binning your bike once, it's worth it & if it gives you the skills or corrects your skills that allow you to go bigger & faster, then well worth it!
