This anime is visually stimulating with beautiful and unusual images but the story only vaguely resembles the original manga. To me the story is so cryptic and full of symbolizm that it appears bizarre and incomprehensible. It's still fun to watch though because the images are so appealing and you never know what is going to happen next....

too strange to watch again

it was getting interesting when the plot did a 90 degree turn into a different dimention. black faces and a giant machine. Little too strange to watch again. besides animation is lower than average
